Offshore Races under the Commemoration of Atatürk &Youth and Sport Day

The World Offshore 22 Championship in 2012 held for the second time in Samsun.

ECI Man Cosmetics was the first, Beşiktaş was the second and Lenore Yatch was the third in the fourth Leg of the Championship.

The activity had had  importance twice times because of 19th Mayıs special day. There have been many crowded at the port of Samsun.

Celebration in The Stadium under the Commemoration of Atatürk & Youth and Sport Festival 19 th May

Commemoration of Atatürk & Youth and Sport Day is more important for Samsun than the other places.Because the War of Independance was started in Samsun the same day in 1919. And because of this every year is celebrated a great enthusiasm.
The day was celebrated different kind of activities.One of thei was stadium activities.

Chinese People in Samsun for 19th May "Commemoration of Atatürk & Youth and Sport Festival

Chinese People was in Samsun in scope of 19th May "Commemoration of Atatürk & Youth and Sport Festival. They've performed with  their secial dragons.They've taken a big acclaim from the public.

26-person team  has shown their special dances. All Turkish peaople but especially children fallowed by a great admiration.

Exhibition of Stamp about Atatürk in Samsun(Part of the activities of May 19th)

An exhibition of Stamps about Atatürk was opened in Samsun under the events of 19th May, Commemoration of Atatürk & Youth and Sport Festival.

This exhibition was organised by Assosiation of Philately and it lasted between 14-17 May.

An officer has told about what the stamp's uses , when the stamp was started to be used and how much valuable are the stamps.

The public of Samsun and students have cared about this exhibition.

In this event , the students of Kutlukent 80. Yıl Primary School visited this exhibition on 17th May 2012.

Offroad Racing (Part of the activities of May 19th)

The first step of the Cup of Blacksea Offroad started  on 12nd May 2012 in Samsun due to  week of 19th  Youth and Sport Activities.The organisation was supported The  Governor of Samsun and Municipality of Samsun.30 teams attended into this race.The first stage took place in an artificial piste.

The second stage of the competition will occure on 19th and 20 May in Giresun   , the third stage between 2nd and 3rd June in Vezirköprü-Samsun, the fourth stage will occure in Ardeşen -Rize on 23rd-24th June.And fifth stage will take place in Fatsa-Ordu 7-8 July , sixth stage will be 8-9th September in Sinop  the last one will occure 29th 30th September in Ordu Gölköy.
